SAM Mouldings is committed to investing in its people. The company has a deeply embedded culture of continuous improvement and this culture extends to its attitude and approach to learning and development. A strong management team has developed a climate where all employees feel involved and empowered to develop and improve themselves.
SAM was first recognised as an Investor in People in 1998. Since then it has been successfully reviewed against the IiP standard in 1999 and again in 2001. The company has also been successfully reviewed against the more comprehensive IiP Profile standard in 2003 and again in 2005 reflecting the company’s sustained and continuing commitment to invest in it’s people.
In 2004 SAM Mouldings was chosen as one of the first ever IiP Champions. Out of over 30,000 organisations that had achieved IiP recognition at that time only 16 were selected as Champions. This elite group of organisations were chosen by a 9-strong judging panel as truly outstanding Investors in People. |
