SAM Mouldings continues to invest and grow 2005
SAM Mouldings, the leading supplier of MDF mouldings to the UK and Ireland, has just put the finishing touches to its latest stage of development and expansion. An investment in excess of £750,000 in the first half of 2005 has included the installation of a fourth beam saw, along with two high - speed profile moulders bringing the full compliment to seven. Three dual - coat priming lines complete the manufacturing process. Now standing on an eight acre site with three acres dedicated to manufacturing the MDF range of profiles, the SAM plant leads the market in its state of the art production facilities. This further substantial investment is again in response to the ever increasing demand for the SAM product from both merchants wishing to stock the SAM range and housebuilders who are specifying the use of SAM profiles. The first half of 2005 has seen turnover rise by over 20% on the same period in 2004 and the substantial increase in the use of SAM Mouldings shows no signs of slowing. Firmly established as the UK market leader with almost 25% market share, SAM Mouldings will continue to focus on total customer satisfaction providing the customer with what they want, when they want it.
